$500 Legacy Fund Scholarship
Orchestral students taking private lessons, who are residents of Sussex County, NJ, or who are related to or studying with a New Sussex Symphony member,
are eligible to apply for this $500 scholarship that is paid directly to the private teacher. Teachers do not need to be from Sussex County.
Please see the attached letter, teacher recommendation form, and student application.
The deadline for applications is November 3, 2025
This scholarship fund has been in existence since 2000. We have awarded over $10,000 throughout the life of this scholarship program.

Holiday Fundraiser
Please help us raise money for our non-profit organization by purchasing some holiday greens for yourself or your family and friends. Our holiday greens fundraiser runs from mid-September through early November annually, delivery typically occurs around Thanksgiving.
Local Group Delivery Items will need to be picked up in Newton, NJ. Direct Delivery Gift Items will be mailed directly to your home.
